Wipeout Wednesday!

We’re calling this Wipeout Wednesday because we want to wipe a brutal Tuesday from our memories. Sports betting is full of ups and downs, and yesterday was a downer. 😞 We shortened the card of picks today in an effort to get back on track. 🙏 Look at the bright side; you will save a minute in your reading today, lol. 🤣 Sit back, relax, have a chuckle or two, and see how we’re going to regroup and take down the books today. 🍀

Here’s what’s on tap:

  • An MLB over that’s a five out of five on the confidence scale 🧢

  • A pair of pitcher props that will add to your bankroll 💰

  • A midweek CFB play you shouldn’t wait on 🏈

Here we go!

MLB Sides & Totals: There will be runs aplenty in Kansas City

It’s a full schedule of MLB games, but only two plays stood out for us as good opportunities to cash.

Royals vs. Guardians o9 (+100): When you think of teams in MLB that light up the scoreboard, neither the Royals nor Guardians necessarily come to mind. But these have been two of the better-hitting teams in baseball over the last week. Both are averaging in the neighborhood of six runs per game in that span. Both clubs also get the good fortune of facing struggling starting pitchers today. The Guardians' Lucas Giolito is surrendering nearly five runs per game this season, while the Royals’ Zack Greinke checks in with a 5.39 ERA. Throw in the recent struggles of the Cleveland bullpen and the ordinary talent of the Kansas City pen, and it looks like these offenses should be in line for another good day. Nine seems a bit low on this total, and we’re going to take advantage of it and roll with the over.

Brewers ML+100 vs. Cardinals: We’ve been riding the Brewers the entire series and don’t see a reason to stop now. They have been the far better-hitting team the last 10 days. They have a vastly superior bullpen and something to play for. The lack of advantage for Milwaukee in the starting pitching department in this matchup nets us a discount on the moneyline, which we will take full advantage

MLB Pitcher Props: Not much to be found today

The pitcher props market has tightened up on us the last few days, but we won’t force it. We will continue to limit plays to those that meet our criteria. It has been very successful, so we’re sticking with what works.

Kyle Bradish u5.5 K’s (+100): This one is easy to see. We have Bradish projected a full strikeout under this total and don’t have to lay any juice.

Aaron Nola o4.5 K’s (-132): Nola fans better than a batter an inning, and I think he goes five or six today against the Braves, putting him in prime position to hit this over.

College Football Week 4: The Blue Raiders will topple the Rams

Middle Tennessee State is taking a lot of early week action, and we are already seeing line movement in the wrong direction. We fear there may be more before kickoff, so let’s lock in the best price possible.

Middle Tennessee St. -2.5 (-130) vs. Colorado St.: I’m sure nobody outside of friends and family has this one circled on their calendar as a must-watch college football game on a Week 4 packed with compelling matchups. But we’re here to make money, and we believe this spot gives us a chance to do that. Neither of these teams is great by any stretch of the imagination, but we believe Middle Tennessee is the better squad, and we’re getting a discount because of Colorado State’s hard-fought loss to Colorado on Saturday night. A close loss to an in-state rival that was clearly looking ahead to a matchup with Oregon has caused the Rams to get too much love for the linesmakers. We have the Blue Raiders as a five-point favorite, so we see value here. One also has to wonder how much CSU will have left in the tank after coming up short against Colorado in a game that lasted until almost 2 a.m. ET on Sunday morning. Motivation may also be lacking here as the Rams go from the national stage on ESPN to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on ESPN+. All these factors unite and make MTSU a strong play for us on Saturday night.

That’s a wrap gang. Let’s hope Wipeout Wednesday lives up to its name. Remember to follow us on Twitter/X @give_me_wins for bonus plays and all the latest from the GIVE ME WINS team.
